Dow Jones surge almost 3% last night. Seeing the news in Bloomberg and CNBC - everybody makes a comment with a smiling face. The Stocks rallied as investors placed bets that a recovery in the financial and housing sectors is more likely to occur following the U.S. government's move to bail out mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Investors were hoping that the plan to inject up to $100 billion in each of the government-chartered mortgage financiers could not only help lower mortgage rates but perhaps help buoy the overall economy.
Is it ?
yes...but in the medium to the long term.
So, will today the market jump following the US and Europe market?
can be !
However I'm still reluctant to start invest in the market with huge uncertainty.
In the short term there will be a huge selling order to the market - some bad news are still coming as a result of economic slowdown since January 2008 and the market will over reacting because now the market are full with investor that are not equipped with sufficient knowledge nor investment planning - but only believe what the sales says that invest in an equity market will give a lot of money. These investor are reacted slowly to sell - and these coming days or month they will start to get nervous, frightened and then start to sell. And the amount are huge !
I'LL watch the market very close.
Ready to change my view from bearish market to bullish market anytime.
